The second-annual Day of Giving, in the words of President Frederick W. Clark Jr., “crushed last year’s results.”
Wednesday’s drive saw an increase over last year of 50 percent in both donors and dollars. The number of contributors was 393, raising more than $40,000.
“Your gift goes directly to students and for that I thank you,” the president said.
