Dr. Iacobucci is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê. His research and teaching interests include racial and socioeconomic disparities in policing, crime theory, trauma, and substance use.

His current research explores the socio-historical formation of addiction as a knowable and meaningful concept and on how institutions such as law, religion, and medicine exert power to shape societal responses to substance use over time. His research area also includes institutional and organizational responses to individual and collective trauma and their influence on identity.
